VACATION - SO SEA YOU LATER
Finding it hard to shake of this cold, I won't go into detail, but I'm sure you know the effects....
Away tomorrow to open up the holiday home (sounds grand, but its not, its close to the sea so its good for me), we are five weeks late opening up, but with decorating etc, we haven't had the time.
We are now waiting for the delivery of two display units and home entertainment storage cabinet to finish the room. The room will never reach the levels of grand designs, but I have felt a personal satisfaction from utilising the furniture I had, and adding my own personal touch.
It is almost a year now since I have been unable to work, and instead of feeling sorry for myself (OK sometimes, I get cross about it), I have enjoyed using the tips from di at designers block.
I have mixed old with new, something I didn't thing would work, but it has, well for me anyway.
When its finished I will post my lounge, it will not be to every ones liking, but for once its about matching me and the pleasure I have gained from using my skills, instead of being so busy working, thus employing others to do the work.
I am away until next Wednesday, I am hoping some sea air will brighten my sallow cheeks. Milo can get back to his duties of seagull guard. Math can have a break from work.
I will miss my chats with my blogging buddies, but until then take care...................
