ZEN WOMAN

Well I'm back, and first I feel the need for a little moan. As I mentioned before I am very keen to learn about Transcendental Meditation, one of the reasons Math choose the spa. Unfortunately it was only an introduction about T.M, and if you wished to continue the fee was £1280.
This I feel is a very steep charge in any ones imagination, particularly as it is something that is advertised to help so many health problems, high blood pressure, heart problems stresses and strains depression etc. If I had paid this fee I feel Math would most likely be suffering several of them.
Fortunately, I learned about T.M Independent (UK), who were teachers at the Maharishi Foundation since 1977, but resigned in 1995 due to the high costs. Being independent they charge much lower fees and scale them according to income, which they feel is a fairer way to charge for something. They feel everybody needs to be able acess T.M at a price within the general public's reach (I cannot tell you where I got this information from or I will have to eat you!). So at this present time I am looking into where they are holding their courses, or indeed if I can set about opening one here.

Therefore I am not totally Zenned out, but returned home to find my darling just about to finish laying the last piece of the 87 sq mtrs of flooring in our home.
We did have a bit of a giggle though as we celebrated fixing the last few inches in place. This wooden flooring has laid in the garage for an age, but with his busy work schedule and many more commitments, time could never be found to start the procedure of laying it. I do know that every time he opened the garage doors, there it would lay *winking* at him, saying "lay-me lay-me", like some mistress of burden, hanging around his neck.
He even had an ex- colleague, who had told him the story of some expensive wallpaper that sat in a room at their home for months and months. In the end they said they took it to the waste tip so it wasn't there as a constant reminder of a chore that needed doing. Mind you, this person did like to spin a story, so the validity of it is unsure.

Anyway I digress. The flooring wasn't taken to the tip, it has been laid with love, care and with the patience of a saint, and it all looks magnificent. Not only had he finished this arduous task whilst I was away, the study had also been dismantled then rearranged in a far more practical and functional way to allow access the PC and other techno toys in there. Bless him, he looked as proud as Punch to have completed it all before Christmas. So my darling thank you so much, I hope you know how much I love you and will try and show you everyday what you mean to me (((((HUGS)))))).
I had withdrawal symptom's on Friday, not being able to do my Flash 55, and my mother-in-law is a teetotaler so I couldn't drowned my sorrows either. ('Akela' where are you when I need you?). I missed visiting my blogging buddies and wondered what you where all up to whilst I was away. So tomorrow I will be popping round to see what I've missed. This will be in between preparing a meal for the pantomime producer and her husband who are coming around for a meal in the evening. I'm doing a lamb tagine recipe, courtesy of 'Cream' my blogging buddie, who is a veritable mine of information. So hopefully I'll be around to see you tomorrow..
