OUT WITH OLD in WITH THE NEW...

Sandy from "Writing in Thoughts" (definitely worth a visit) asked me if I'd like to do this Meme, its about reflecting on the old year and embracing the new. I won't tag anyone to do it, but if you do decide to, let me know.

1. What did I learn?
I've learned to value the people I love, and to tell them so, as often as I can.

2. What did I accomplish?
To accept the things I can't change, and change the things I can.

3. What would I have done differently?
Trust my instincts, they are there for a reason. Said "no "more often and realised its not essential for everyone to like me.

4.What did I complete or release?
Mmm mm! the only answer I can think of is work still in progress.

5. What were the most significant events of the year past?
Acccepting my disability, and working with it towards new goals and challenges.

6.What did I do right?
Not giving up on the people who at times pushed me to the limit, even if the choice of giving up on them would have been easier. The 'right thing' was to view the wider picture.

7.What were the fun things I did?
Spending more time with my family and friends, being involved in their hopes and dreams.

8. What were my biggest challenges/roadblocks/difficulties?
Gosh! I suppose I've covered most of them in the previous questions. I guess taking responsibility for me, and not being influenced by others who never really had my interests at heart. Also whilst I'm here, never ever letting someone bully me again no matter what their threats...

9. How am I different this year to last?
Well apart from being older, I hope we all become a little wiser with time.

10. For what am I particularly grateful?
The usual, health, friends, family, the love of a good man who loves me warts and all.

Hope my answers don't make you want to stick your fingers down your throat, they are honest and from the heart.
