TAKE CARE MY BLOGGING BUDDIES.

Most of you know how much I love sand, so I hope you enjoy this as much as I did (please stay with it up to the end).

Hi there. Mum is doing OK, she is recovering from her operation. She was unfortunately in theatre a couple of hours longer than predicted. She was also rather upset that the scar on her neck is about seven inches longer than the two inches that the surgeon had said would be left.
Saying that, the incision was glued rather than stitched, and I feel sure that with time it will just look like a felt-tip mark, and could be covered with foundation. Being my mothers daughter in more ways than one, I can understand her distress about the scar, vanity being something we both have in common.......
The doctor has given mum anti depressants for 28 days, to hopefully cheer her up, as she is having some tearful moments and feeling rather low. But as I keep telling her, it is very early days yet and maybe her confusion and constant sleepiness may pass (everything crossed eh!!!)

Once again I thank you all for your kind and thoughtful comments, some of you I have only recently met, yet you still pop by to see how things are. I feel so guilty not responding to you all. I have friends who live in Sweden and I was so looking forward to getting to know my new blogging friend from there, so I could boast to Steffen and Eva (my friends ) that I now knew others from their wonderful part of the world.

Alas, like a big accusing finger my blog sits unattended and unloved.
It is because of this that for the time being I am going to close my blog until things are sorted out here. If I continue to stay at mums, I will explore getting on line there. Hopefully in the future (if you will take me back) , I will contact you all again, with how things have progressed here. I will also have some posts that are a little more interesting than this grey period that is surrounding me at the moment..
It will be something to look forward to, being able to catch up with all your antics and sharing a giggle or two.. This decision has not come easily, but I feel that whilst I haven't the time to use my blog at the moment, it will be safely tucked away until I can give it the attention it and you deserve.

I will keep this post on show for a while, so that you all know mum and I are OK , before I go into hibernation (typical of me to get the seasons the wrong way around!)

So I won't say goodbye, just remind you to take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and thank you all so much for your support over the past months. You will always be in my thoughts, ((((HUGS)))) QUEENIE XXXXXX
