49, FOREVER...........

"Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear meeeeee, happy birthday to me"......
Well its official I am another year older, spent the day relatively quitely.
I was to be at the hospital for ten the following morning, so no alcohol or late night on the actual day.

My family came to visit me throughout the day, we had gallons of builders tea, coffee and cupcakes (my new hobby). I had made a variety of flavours, rum & raisin, chocolate-chip, white chocolate chip, to name a few on offer.....

I was given some wonderful gifts, flowers, perfumes x 3, anti-aging cream (won't say who this was from). A bronze Buddha, and a beautiful ring from my friend the previous post was about, and many more lovely presents I'll treasure.

Math brought me a pair of shoe/boots (with heels) I've been hanging my nose over. I'll never be able to walk in them, but how sexy will I look in my wheel chair??????

My son and his girlfriend came over on Friday, and we ate at the local Indian restaurant.
Today (Saturday) Math and I went to the Royal Theatre to see "Woman in Black", I've been wanting to see this for a couple of years. Math saw it in London a few years ago, and has gone on about how great the acting is. There are only two actors (well maybe three), and the one stage set. The lighting and audio have you on the edge of your seat. It was indeed a great production, I must confess to a scream and the need to clutch on to Maths arm (any excuse), just the sort of stuff to view the day after Halloween................................
Then this Tuesday friends of ours are bringing over a Chinese meal to celebrate my birthday with me. I'm sure we will have a drink or two and most definitely a few laughs....
So all in all I'm having an extended birthday with my friends and family. Who could ask for more, certainly not me.....
